Types And Sizes Of Bra Inserts

There are many, many types of bra inserts and they come in a full range of sizes. However, to get the right size for your particular body, you need to know about the way various materials may affect fit. Some are better for small or average sized breasts while other materials work just as well for women with larger breasts.

Women who are endowed with large breasts tend to prefer silicone bra inserts. They work equally well for smaller sizes but they mold well to the shape of voluptuous breasts, making them perfect for women with breasts needing bra inserts to fit bras as large as 40 DD or more.

Push-up bra inserts can be made of foam or gel and work very well for smaller breasted women, ranging in size from 28A to 30B and other choices in the A and B ranges. Because they give the illusion of cleavage and actually do “push” the breasts upwards, these bra inserts make the most of what a woman has. However, push-up bra inserts could be too much for the generously endowed woman, someone who perhaps wants to downplay her breast sizes while still presenting an attractive chest silhouette when wearing shirts, t-shirts, etc.

Of course, if a woman is flat-chested, does she even need a bra, let alone a bra insert? Good question and the answer is absolutely and unequivocally…..yes. They allow a woman who appears to have no cleavage (with inserts) to draw the attention she desires, feeling just as lovely as her more endowed friends.

As so many women can testify, their breast size can affect how they feel about themselves. Both large-breasted and small-breasted women can dislike the size of their breasts but bra inserts can minimize the effect of those double or triple D bosoms and increase the illusion of larger breasts for women who wear A and B sized bras. The right inserts can actually make a woman appear up to three sizes larger than she really is!

But what about women who have the opposite problem, with their breasts seeming to draw…well… almost too much attention? Some larger women have to wear bras shaped with wire and they can be quite painful. A major advantage of bra inserts may be to take away the discomfort of underwire bras and make life much more comfortable again.

Women who wear A and B cupped bras will want to stay away from underwire bras. For one thing, they can be expensive and difficult to find inserts to fill them enough to provide support for women with small breasts. They are an simply not necessary. A simple bra with basic support is best for using with bra inserts for these women.
